Text2Cash Scam or Not?

text2cash scam or not
text2cash scam or not

Text2Cash Corporation is said to be the first in the Philippines to use text messaging for advertising. This company is still in pre launch state as of now ( 12/16/2012). Official website: www.mytext2cash.com
The corporation behind this is called Newgen Marketing.

Pay Plan

To join you have to pay 988 Php

Upon joining you are to receive 10 advertisement in your cellphone via text message. Nobody likes to be advertised but you are paid 20 Php so that is not so bad. Until you realize that is all you get, 200 Php return for 1k investment. And in order to be advertised more and get paid you need to recruit! This is where it begins to stink! First 5 recruits you get 5 Valued ad text, 6th-10th you get 7 Valued ad and only after 11th onwards that they will give you 10 Valued ad text.

When you subscribed to them you agree to receive 5-15 ad text (text advertising), The problem is there are two kinds of ad text, first is valued ad text which is worth 20 Php, but you need to reply with the script provided. and the second kind is free ad text which is worthless. This again for me is another abuse of an innocent subscriber not knowing what they are getting into. What if it did took you a long time to recruit someone? Or you are a weak recruiter? Or you decided to quit? They probably will flood your cellphone inbox with annoying worthless advertisement just because you agreed with the terms and condition. Furthermore, even with the Valued text ad you still need to reply the script provided and I doubt if they will shoulder the cost for the reply message. For me its a TRAP!! Don't fall for it!

These kind of systems are making a fool of people which I highly go against. They basically are building a pyramid scheme to grow a member base that ridiculously pays them to be advertised, and they keep 100% of the advertisers money! Poor ignorant people thought that the money is coming from advertisers as what text2cash wants them to believe. But wise individuals will know that the money they will be paying you comes from your own registration fee and from those you recruit. Take note, you will only get 200Php ROI from 1k investment. And there is no way for you to earn but bring them another 1k by recruiting idiots like you.

In my opinion this is the greediest system Ive ever known. Just like adszense and todayadz only in the form of text advertising but the systems are the same. I must admit I made some sucky post but self  reviews on companies with these systems are the most self fulfilling on my cause to save people from this pyramid schemes.

They always argue they are not pyramiding and will tell me I do not know what I am talking about or do not even know what pyramiding is.

So why do I consider it a Pyramid scheme?
1. You can only earn if you recruit, If you can not recruit you do not make money.
2.The money they will pay you comes from your own registration fees and from those you recruit still with a lot left that goes to text2cash pocket.

If you don't agree with my definition of a pyramid scheme you can always do your due diligence and research before you decide whom to believe.

Another worst thing is they keep 100% of advertisers money! They make it look like they pay you to be advertised which is a complete deception. The money you will get is from you and your downlines investment with a lot left that will also be going into their pocket!

  1. Yes, there is a valid point, what if we don't want to continue with the text2cash anymore? can we unsubscribe? if it truly is an advertising company they should pay us money from advertises. The system of us paying to be advertised upon is really RIDICULOUS!!

  2. As far as I know there is no spam thing. So not scam for me.

    1. Are you speaking of that paid adtext or the free ones? the concern is that you will be flooded with those worthless ad text. What products is that anyway? how do we know its worth 1000 php?

    2. paid adtxt po. ung non valued adtxt po is gagamitin daw un for S.O.S. plan kasi maki cooperate sa govt. sample may bagyo or tsunami, mga reminders so no spam padin po.

ung product po is guyabano + moringa capsules tawag nila is guanavana. 30capsules po worth 1k nakabote un po ung natanggap ko

    3. as of now po kasi 1 palang narcv ko na free adtxt. yung pabati nila un nung new year.

    4. When you say "gagamitin daw" It does not mean "gagamitin only" for SOS which is acceptable. Am I right?
Ultimately its us, the individual owners of mobile numbers who should have complete control over it. I believe they should give an "unsubscribe" choice for people should they decide to quit.
If you analyze closely, in an unpaid ad text, we get bothered, they get paid, we don't. correct? this should be a major consideration. Worse thing is, we only get limited paid text if we successfully recruited somebody. I highly suspect that the money paid to us are not from the advertisers, they are from the people we recruit. what do you think?

Guyabano is a fruit abundant here in the Philippines and moringa is malunggay. How much is a kilo of guyabano and a bundle of malunggay in the market? would they even cost you 500php?
I honestly believe 1000 php for 30 capsule is too much overpricing. besides, I do not think taking it in a processed capsule is healthier than eating mallungay and guyabano in its natural form. its like paying more for less healthy right? why would anybody do that?

Seasonal greetings is not considered ad text since it is not an advertisement in the first place. They should do that often.

    5. I am also a member po of t2c.

    6. mr. inquirer, I think sa pagkacapsuled nung product mas convinient dalahin kahit saan lalo pa naka bote. Ang pangit naman kumain ng malunggay sa bus. Just sharing my point po.

Also nakapasok xa sa MLM so expected na ang ganyang price. Kasi every product sold part of it will go to the commission of uplines

      Delete
    7. Well hopefully, fingers crossed hinde mangyari, I am just not comfortable with the word "daw" and "sabi ni anu" I think the company should address this issue, have a written agreement man lang that there will be no spamming or better yet you can unsubscribe anytime you want.

I am not saying that there should be no limit on paid ad text, the problem is that the only way you can earn is to have a recruit. It all boils down to the fact that the money you make comes from the new recruits, If you don't recruit you don't make money. Its all about recruiting, and that system falls down to be a "Pyramid scheme" (correct me if I am wrong)

For me, a profit sharing advertising company should work this way:

      1.Advertisers pay the advertising company.
2.Advertising company advertises to us the audience.
3.Advertising company shares its profits to us, the audience

Simple and straight forward, you don't even have to pay a fee to join. Money comes from advertisers.

I would expect malunggay to be part of your meal, not something to be eaten in a bus. your point is very unlikely.
If convenience is the problem then a capsule may be a good idea but should be at a reasonable price. Being an MLM product is not an excuse of overpricing. All products regardless of what model it is distributed should have a fair price. If the uplines commissions outweighs reasonable price as a priority then this will add to the grounds of text2cash being a "pyramid scheme".

I have my references of what a pyramid scheme is and how it works, I just don't want to spoon feed it to you, this will not do any good in doing your "due diligence". I want you to research and understand it. If you can prove me wrong then I would be happy sharing valid points with you here.

    8. Well its their system and their prices, some offers it for free and some offer it with fee. For those who can manage it then good, if they don't want it, it is still ok. And it is working for us though, doing as what they have promised. And paying us, I have asked them if we can unsubscribe and they said yes.

Para sakin ok lang ung price nung product kasi nababawi naman sa kikitain. Marami din naman mga produkto jan na OP sa market.

      Delete
    9. Basta I can assure naman din kasi sa tingin ko di talaga nila pwede iabuse yung system kasi kayang kaya sila ipademanda ng NTC if ever. And they are also aware of it.

  3. Sa mga nbabasa ko dito, yes you will make money, pero marangal ba? I think not, malinaw na kasi an pyramiding eh.

I believe in karma, if kikita ako sa maling paraan, babalik sa akin ang bad karma three folds back. kaya wag nalang.

Naniniwala din ako na alam ng Panginoon lahat ng ginagawa mo, Hinde ka nya pag palain at biyayan ng grasya kung ganito ang gagawin mo.

  4. There's nothing wrong with the system as I can see. I am a networker too. It has products that is being sold to members, and an addition of some advertisement texts. There's nothing wrong with that. As long as products are moving everything is legit.

    Selling overpriced product??
Just because there is a product even if overpriced its legit??

There is nothing wrong with that kind of system?? Really?

    1. We can earn without recruits. Its by having a company advertise with us or selling the products.

    2. And I think the price is just right. I've been to other MLM companies and their T2C's product price is just in average

      Delete
    3. If you let the company advertise you then that means you have our own products/services/business, If you make money that way then T2C is out of that. The issue is T2C system itself, in its compensation plan, its all about recruiting, money comes from the joining fees of new recruits.

Is the "other MLM company" you are referring to a regulating body to determine a fair market value? the last time I know, it was DTI.

The next best way to know the fair market value of the product is to find a similar product that is regulated by the DTI, they can be found in the shelves of the supermarket.

  6. I am reading the comments. Hey guys just want to ask something. Can you earn big in an MLM company without any recruiting. Because from the word itself. Multi (Marami) Level (Levels, Generations Deep) Marketing (Strategy).

If a company don't need recruits then it is not MLM. Hello??! And you earn big with the referrals than retailing, or selling or finding advertisers

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Are you sure you are reading it properly?
the argument was you are "ONLY" earning when you recruit.
MLM should be product/service focus, not "recruiting".

MLM is legal, Pyramiding scheme is not..

      Educate yourself first..

      Delete
    2. are you a networker?? from the word itself po "network"

      Delete
    3. toinks, ang layo ng logic, anung meron sa word na network?
      hehe..
pwedeng GMA network, network of friends, computer network.. hehe..

lalo ka lang lumalayo, Ganito yan, MLM is recruiting business, BUT there must be a service/product movement, Not just any product but a product that has a RIGHT PRICE and that people should have COMPELLING REASON TO BUY.

The focus is to sell the product, not to earn from your recruits fee to join.

      Now lets investigate T2C:

      1. In its pay plan, it is very clear that the only time you can have income is when you can have recruits. Also, the money you will be earning comes from part of the recruits payments.

      2. The product which they claim to be worth 1000php (30 capsules of guyabano and malunggay)is ridiculously overpriced. These plants grows everywhere in the country, I can even ask from my neighbor a fruit of guyabano and a whole branch of malunggay for free, how many capsules do you think is equivalent to that?

Now, with these facts, will you still consider T2C a legitimate MLM??
Have you tried researching about "Pyramiding scheme?"
If not please do, if yes then you should know that T2C belongs to it.

    4. bakit po. wala ba silang moving product??

    5. hay naku lulusot pa talaga.. hehe..

"Not just any product but a product that has a RIGHT PRICE and that people should have COMPELLING REASON TO BUY."

Hinde ppwede ang pantakip butas na product. kunwari lang yang product na yan para mag mukhang legit MLM. cover lang sa pyramid scheme na ginawa nila.

    7. That advertising service is of text2cash you are talking about is a very funny joke!

A real advertising service ADVERTISE YOU, your business. There is value in it, that is why advertisers "PAY".

In text2cash things works in reverse, you are "ADVERTISED UPON". How can that be of value? In fact its a negative value! Why would you pay for that??
Its like you pay yourself to work. Hilarious isn't it???

My fellow Filipinos, we are not that stupid!! Please don't let those Text2Cash people shit on our heads and laugh on us!!!

  7. I do not know what is with this blog. But as I can see one of its post about todayadz. todayadz is growing larger and larger and gaining more trust to people and this site pointing it as scam. Now another company has opened and has a potential "and is only at pre-launch state" and this blog also points this as scam. Also I have seen many other posts like jinga juice and other big companies, and this blog's reviews are all negative, but check it in reality they are also getting bigger and bigger. I am now thinking that this blog just want to have some hits and instead of positivity this blog exposes negativity and promotes fear to people.

Another one is SWA, members are earning and their top is already a millionaire by just using facebook.

Instead of teaching readers how to take risk and going into the new trend of business, this blog is pinning the people to a place where they cannot move forward because of fear and stays where they are.

    1. The blog is stating the reason "WHY" these programs are a pyramid scheme.

We all know what Pyramiding is, its never good, its all bad.

Now, can give just one reason "WHY NOT" this is a pyramid scheme?? or a good reason why people should join these programs?

All your arguments are very poor.. If a program is growing larger and someone got rich, does it necessarily mean that this is Good?
A perfect example would be the Aman Futures scam, look how rapidly they grew large and those few people at the top end up as Billionaires.

Why would this blogger teach taking risk on a pyramiding scheme? And it is just right for people to be fearful of it.

I would be happy teaching people taking risk with legitimate business and investments. There are a lot of ways to move forward. Not just MLM/networking and certainly never a pyramiding scheme.

    2. Every organization in the world is built in triangular form. If you guys don't want network marketing don't bad mouth it. All network marketing companies need recruits to earn big, and it doesn't mean na scam na because of its organizational structure. Simple logic, the company is selling their product in form of recruiting. That is the reason why registration fees must have a product return with it.

Why would big business mens start up their own network marketing companies? one is Donald Trump the owner of Miss Universe. Simply because it is the new trend of business these days. And network marketing will grow bigger and bigger because the world is now accepting it.

Btw, SMART's key account holder (Muenchen) has already started their 2nd Network Marketing Company.

Accept change. Take risks. Study MLM/networking and then you can easily determine what really is scam or not.

"You cannot say anything about a thing if really didn't get into it"

    4. I think the argument here is that text2cash is a Pyramiding scheme. Its not an attack against MLM/networking.

MLM is a legitimate business, if you understand is as you claim you should know that it is product/service focus. not on recruiting.

      Your statement saying:
"Simple logic, the company is selling their product in form of recruiting"
Is highly laughable.. An indication of ignorance, you need more education about MLM/Networking.

  13. Please BEWARE of SCAM FRAUD by Economic Frauds Detection & Prevention Inc.

    Economic Frauds Scam - https://economicfrauds.net

Around May 23, this year my office received a call from a representative (he refused to mention his name) from Economic Frauds Detection & Prevention Inc. telling us that someone had filed a damaging complaint against our company, although he would give no further details, and we have no knowledge of any such complaint. During the conversation, he suggested that we should make a payment of $650 and in return that they will not make the complaint public as it would damage our reputation. We told him that we would think about it, because it is a corporate matter, and we don't have the discretion to make payments for reasons like this without approval from our bosses. Up until this week, they have been calling us about it continuously. They even threatened to make our company famous with the information that they have by exaggerating the complaint and posting it publicly on their site and all over the internet. They even gave us their site name, which is https://economicfrauds.net, and asked us to check for ourselves what had happened to other companies that refused to settle with them in the past.
